City Tours
The City Tour is one of the most popular tours. It offers an excellent opportunity to get to know the main tourist attractions of each city, making the most of your time. With the accompaniment of an experienced guide, you will have access to a variety of information — from historical and cultural facts to local curiosities — making the tour much more enriching and memorable.
The duration of the tours may vary depending on the size of the city and the guide's working style.
In large cities like Paris or London, we recommend splitting the tour into 2 to 3 days, with approximately 5 hours of sightseeing per day. This time is ideal for exploring the main tourist attractions at a relaxed pace, without making the day tiring. On the other hand, if you only have one day to visit these cities, we suggest a tour of up to 8 hours, focusing on the five main tourist attractions. As time allows, we can include other additional locations to make the experience even more complete. It's important to know that some guides are flexible and already offer pre-set itineraries with varying durations — 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8 hours — adapting to your needs. Other tours have a maximum limit of 4 or 5 hours, with no possibility of extension or extra hours.
Most city tours in Europe are conducted on foot, providing a more economical, accessible, and authentic experience of the city. When necessary, we use public transportation, especially for travel between more distant neighborhoods or tourist attractions outside the city center.
Before the tour, we seek to understand the client's profile — such as age, presence of children or elderly people, pace preferences (easy tour with several stops or more dynamic), and any health conditions. This information is essential for customizing the itinerary, ensuring comfort, safety, and the best possible experience.
A car tour is an excellent option for those traveling with elderly people, children, or during the summer on very hot days. It offers more comfort and convenience, especially in cities with large distances between tourist attractions. However, this option is limited to cities where there are accredited or experienced tour guides who also drive. In many cases, it is necessary to book a driver and a guide separately, which can double the cost of the tour.
It's important to know that many tourist attractions in European cities are not accessible by car. Even if the driver drops you off at the closest possible location, you may still need to walk for about 10-20 minutes to reach the historic center or return to the city parking lot.
If you prefer, we can create a personalized itinerary for you and book only the driver, who will take you to the locations you select. This option offers more flexibility and can be adjusted according to your time, interests, and needs.
Themed Tours
Themed tours are an excellent way to explore Europe focusing on your specific interests. Instead of following traditional itineraries, these tours are designed around themes such as art, gastronomy, history, architecture, fashion, cinema, literature, religion, and more.
You can choose a tour that delves into medieval history, explores local flavors in traditional markets and restaurants, or follows in the footsteps of famous figures and historical events that have shaped the city.
These tours are ideal for those seeking a deeper, more personalized, and engaging experience—led by guides who are experts in the chosen subject.
Tourist Guides
Hiring a tour guide in the UK and Europe can completely transform your travel experience, especially for those with limited time or who prefer a deeper immersion in the local culture. Here are the main benefits and hiring options:
Advantages of hiring a tour guide
1. Time optimization: Guides know the best routes and schedules to avoid queues and crowds, allowing you to see more in less time.
2. Historical and cultural information: You will have access to curiosities, historical facts, and explanations that enrich your visit to the tourist attractions.
3. Access to lesser-known places: Local guides can take you to hidden corners, authentic markets, historic neighborhoods, and experiences that aren't in traditional guidebooks.
4. Personalized accompaniment: Many guides offer tailor-made itineraries, adapted to your pace, interests and needs (including those focused on children or the elderly).
5. Ease of communication: Guides who speak Portuguese are ideal for those who do not speak English or other local languages.
